Ps4 Military Games - My brother recently went to study in the USA. Army, fulfilling what has become his lifelong goal. Although it was a heartbreaking time for our family, we couldn't be more proud of him for following his dreams and serving his country. In honor of my brother's recent move, and with a new generation of console games coming out this winter, I thought now would be a good time to think about the 5 best action games released on PS4.

While games cannot capture all the intricacies, realities, and horrors of war, there are many that have managed to simulate this entire war in a way that was terrifying and created deep emotions with players. There are several different methods that could have been used to determine this list, but since this is an opinion, ultimately, these are the campaigns that resonated with me the most.

Sports would have made the list. Also, I chose to focus on campaigns because that's what I play the most - because of that, multiplayer games didn't make it. Additionally, I realized that it would be unfair to include games that I haven't played myself, since I can't accurately describe something that I haven't played. Therefore, these five campaigns only serve as the main battles of the five that I (and my brother) had the pleasure of playing. These are my top five fighting games on PS4.

Okay, so the first two games on mine were released on PS3 and then released for PS4. However, when I looked for games that seemed to have great campaigns that were exciting and fun, I personally couldn't let it go.

At the time, Ghosts just seemed different from other war games I had played at the time. I absolutely loved it. The game introduced the first non-playable character in the series with Riley, a German Shepherd who can be controlled to spot and attack enemies. There were fun and exciting new missions in outer space that I wasn't expecting. The introductory mission “Ghost Stories” was one of the best campaign introductions I had played up to that point. All the missions were just unexpected and fun.

While the series took place in the near future, it was a great game that I thought was fresh and cool for its time. The missions, different settings and memorable characters made the game so enjoyable for me that I played it two or three times.

Another game set in the future, this time the future is far, I appreciated this game because of its amazing works and characters. It was one of the first games I had played (that I can remember) where players imitated their voice actors. It was a great idea that helped me pull back and focus more on the story.

I also liked the addition of the exoskeleton (which goes well with the futuristic theme) and the ability for players to upgrade these suits and weapons after each mission. These points are awarded based on the player's performance, which I thought added a nice touch by pushing players to do well and complete all the objectives they can.

The game was interesting in many ways, but I liked the themes that the story showed. It was one of those games that really made me think about the endless expansion of technology and also the idea that our rapid progress could have on society and the world. Exciting themes, unique campaign features, and great acting made this a great game for me.

I liked the idea of ​​analyzing the "first war to end all wars" as this is a debate that has been ignored in the show, with many historians choosing to analyze WWII over its predecessor. This from the start gave me an insane amount of stuff. My only complaint about it would be that it was too short as I think I was able to finish the entire campaign in a night or two.

That being said, I really thought the different stories allowed for an interesting experience that told different people's stories well. I felt like I learned more about the war than ever before and was fascinated to learn so much of these soldiers' stories in the short time I was able to play as them.

The first mission was also powerful as it really showed the sheer devastation of war and the blood of war as every time one dies their name, birth and death is displayed on the screen before playing as someone else. Whichever mode I played, I found the way the missions "flowed" for each one was different. Overall, this was just filled with interesting stories that were a lot of fun.

Never before has a WWII campaign looked so good. Attacking all of Europe, this campaign has beautiful locations and amazing imagery. Plus, the whole story has depth, tragedy, and heart. The game seems to have gone back to its roots with some of its choices.

While the creators are cliché-heavy and built on tropes, I still found myself able to ignore that and immerse myself in the story. While some characters seem linear and unrounded (such as Sgt. Pierson), others are beautiful and add depth to the story, such as Zussman.

Overall, the missions were fun. Whether it was a reconnaissance mission without a single weapon or a shootout or dogfight, this campaign provided a perfect retelling of World War II and how it was fought. The characters, locations, missions, and gameplay all combine to create the most enjoyable WWII video game I've ever played.

This reboot of the Modern Warfare series set in a different timeline just blew me out of the water. The game really pushes the definition of "modern" in raw, controversial and emotional form. The campaign missions offer a variety of tasks, each showing a different aspect of modern warfare, from the use of drones to night raids and sniper missions.

The game lives up to its name as it borrows heavily from real-life events, sometimes in surprising ways. Confronting a gunman/terrorist threat in Piccadilly Circle was shocking and a true reflection of the trauma experienced by so many people around the world. Other real changes include a mission almost identical to the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden as well as the one that took place on the infamous "Death Road", (though criticized for the inappropriate use of the term).

While other games have tried to show different characters in their stories, this is a true reflection of that as it is not done for the sake of the game or for political reasons. Portraying the military as well as the perspective of a female freedom fighter who has long seen the horrors of the two enemies, players are left with a well-rounded view of modern warfare.

Again, this campaign just blew me away and I would encourage anyone who hasn't played to do so. Some parts are hard to put up with, but I think this campaign gives a good, brutal look at modern warfare during the War on Terror.
